AMX

The AMX name originates from the "American Motors experimental". Based on the AMC Javelin and the shorter wheelbase two-door car, came to be known as the AMX. The Javelin sold 55,124 cars, while the AMX 6,725, making the AMX even more collectible. AMC's new 290 and 343 cubic inch “mid-block” lightweight engines (approx 280hp) provides exceptional performance owing to the great power to weight ratio.

This 1968 AMX example comes with a V8 and a 4 speed. Though it is an older restoration it is an excellent driving car.
